THE wait is over. Bournemouth quintet Voodoo Vegas have today dropped their debut album.
The Rise of Jimmy Silver has picked up favourable reviews from various music websites including Music-news.com who said the rockers had "greatness within their grasp."
The outfit recorded the 11-track offering, which was financed by fans pre-ordering it through the Pledge Music website, at Rockfield studios in Wales where Queen recorded Bohemian Rhapsody.
Frontman Lawerence Case said: "The Rise Of Jimmy Silver is quite a few years in the making. We’ve spent our time playing shows and touring around the UK and Europe.
"One thing I thought before we went into the recording process is I know people like these songs live and I want to record them the best we can. Plus after spending all the time playing the shows for myself there were never going to be any half measures.
"This album has no filler, its our best songs, recorded with one of the worlds best rock producers, recorded in one of the worlds best recording studios. If you love rock music you are going to love this album.
