CHANGES to the Yellow Buses route between Burton and Bournemouth town centre are coming into effect on Sunday.

The 21 service, which operates Monday to Sunday including bank holidays, will have many journeys departing earlier during the day, including the 07.28 and 08.34 school services, which will now be departing from Burton’s Salisbury Road /Campbell Road stop at 07.25 and 08.25 respectively.

The changes are being made following suggestions from passengers and Yellow Buses bosses hope the changes will improve punctuality.

Jenni Wilkinson, Yellow Buses head of marketing, said: “We listened to our passengers who use this service and carried out a review.

“These minor changes are designed to make service 21 more punctual.

“Many of the inbound and outbound journeys between Burton and Bournemouth will be departing earlier throughout the day.

“Passengers are being asked to check the new timetables which can be downloaded from our website.”
