Former Defence Secretary Michael Portillo delivered the 2013 Clayesmore lecture at the north Dorset school.
He addressed more than 600 pupils, staff, governors and guests with his lecture entitled: “Life: A game of two halves.”
Mr Portillo described himself as a “former future Prime Minister” and discussed his political career.
