Yarrells head Charlotte Oosthuizen is expanding the curriculum for Years Seven and Eight students who do not wish to move to secondary education at a younger age.

“It is true that big classes in increasingly larger schools do not afford young people the very best opportunities in terms of their learning and the chance to be significant members of the school community,” she said.

Additional subjects will be offered, such as Latin and Spanish.
