THE man tasered and arrested following an hour stand-off in Roumelia Lane in Boscombe has been released without charge.
Officers were called to the road at lunchtime on Tuesday following reports that a “dis¬ tressed” man had shut himself inside a flat and there was a concern for his welfare.
Roumelia Lane was closed for public safety while police and para¬ medics dealt with the incident.
A man in his 40s was arrested on suspicion of affray but was later released without any charge.
