THIS man forced his way into a car and threatened to seriously sexually assault the driver. 

The 20-year-old woman was driving was driving on her own near to the Dudsbury Golf Course along Christchurch Road on Tuesday at 10.30pm when a man came out of the bushes and forced her to stop the vehicle.

He went to the passenger side door, entered the vehicle and threatened to seriously sexually assault her. She screamed, causing the offender run off towards Hobbycraft.

Detective Constable Jon Sainsbury, of Poole and Bournemouth CID, said: “This was a frightening incident for the victim.

“I am now able to release an e-fit of a man I am keen to speak with.

“We are very concerned about this man’s behaviour and urge any witnesses or anyone who recognises him to contact police urgently.

“I would also urge the man pictured to make contact with Dorset Police.”

He is described as white, with a pale complexion, approximately 50 years old, about five feet eight inches tall and of medium build. He has short dark hair and a moustache.

He was wearing a long sleeve army fleece with a three-quarter zip and black woolly gloves.
