A PEDESTRIAN was seriously injured after a collision in Poole on Thursday night.
The collision between a male pedestrian and a Bournemouth yellow cab took place in Branksome just after 10pm.
Police were called to Poole Road to the eastbound carriageway between Eagle Road and County Gates roundabout where the road divides into two lanes and a bus lane.
The man, who sustained serious injuries was taken to Poole General Hospital.
Police are appealing for witnesses to the collision to contact them on 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
Anyone who saw either the pedestrian or vehicle beforehand are asked to get in touch.
