POLICE have appealed for witnesses to a fail-to-stop accident in Bournemouth which left a cyclist with a broken arm.

The 19-year-old Bournemouth man fell off his bike while trying to avoid a collision with a green car at the junction of Withermoor Road and Woodend Road at 10.50am on Monday December 10. The driver of the car failed to stop.

“I am appealing for anyone who witnessed this incident and anyone who is able to identify the motorist who failed to stop at the scene, to contact me urgently,” said PC Jamie Griffin.

“I would also urge the driver in question to do the right thing and speak with the police. All calls will be treated in the strictest of confidence.”
