KAREN Bessant has a daughter in Year 9. She said: “My daughter came here from a middle school in Poole so she didn’t know anyone. She settled in well and they are pushing her to reach her full potential.”
EMMA Willcox, 18, is taking A-levels in media studies and business studies. She said: “I love being here and fell really involved in the school. It is a great place to study and the staff are very supportive.”
RECEPTION manager Clare Dobson said: “I have been here for five years and would not have stayed so long if I didn’t love my job. Everyone is really friendly at the school and it is a nice, busy, happy place to work.”
FORMER pupil Craig Beeton has been teaching at the school for five years. He said: “I would die for this place – I absolutely love it here. It is a fun place to work, everyone is really friendly and the kids are great.”
PARENT Mandy Woodford said: “I have a son in sixth form and a daughter in Year 10. It is a really good school and they cater to the needs of different abilities. There are a lot of different subjects.”
YEAR 9 student Olivia Bessant said: “Behaviour here is sorted out well and people who are being good are rewarded rather than being left in the shadows. I like maths and PE and hope to stay here in the sixth form.”
