A CHRISTCHURCH theatre company has made it to the final of a television contest.
Regent Rep from Christchurch has made it to the final of Sky Arts’ ‘Nation’s Best Am Dram’ after battling against seven other groups from across Britain to progress.
The company, which was formed in 2008 by Eliot Walker and the late John King, is made up of drama teachers, a professional chef, an accomplished opera singer and a freelance theatre journalist.
They produce two or three productions a year and this is the first competition they have entered. The final will be shown tonight on Sky Arts.
