DRUM and Bass has found a new home in Bournemouth with the Up The Anti club night taking place at the Bonsai Lounge tonight.
Their last event with DJ Fabio sold out in advance.
So who better to continue the underground music on a Friday night than possibly the finest exponent of drum and bass of them all – LTJ Bukem.
The legendary man behind some of the most influential recordings and compilations of the genre will be showcasing his silky skills on the turntables.
No doubt casting the spell that made the Logical Progression, Earth and Progression Sessions compulsive listening, Bukem will be joined by the equally inspirational MC Shadow.
Up The Anti is Bournemouth’s most credible new club brand and is booking major artists supported by home grown talent. They also have some exciting major acts penned in for 2013, which include house legends Danny Rampling and Seb Fontaine amongst many others.
- Over at The Winchester tonight, the Shake crew returns with Bournemouth’s very own superstar DJ Craig Richards. The tech house DJ is also known as part of Tyrant alongside Lee Burridge.
Craig is London superclub Fabric’s musical director and resident DJ. Also on the bill are DJ’s Dave Hornby, Russell Sanger and Daniel Carro.
