CHRISTCHURCH Council is asking residents to give their views on sports pitches in the borough.
A consultation has been launched on the location and supply of sports pitches in the area with comments needed by Monday January 14.
The document asks people to give their opinion on the current provision of pitches for football, cricket and rugby and to say whether pitches for other sports should be provided.
Matti Raudsepp, head of leisure and open spaces at the council said: βIt is important for us to provide opportunities for people to engage in exercise and sporting activities and we need to make sure that we have the right pitches in the correct places.β
The consultation can be seen at dorsetforyou.com/391923 and copies are at the Civic Offices, libraries, Two Riversmeet Leisure Centre and Mudeford Wood Community Centre.
