A MAN broke a car window with his fist following a road rage incident in North Dorset.
Police are appealing for information after a man broke the back window of a Renault Megane on Sunday November 11, between 1pm and 1.10pm, near Tesco on Coppice Street, Shaftesbury.
PC Geraint Craig, of North Dorset police, said: “I believe that this offence followed a road rage incident at the Royal Chase roundabout off the A30, involving a black Audi A3 and the black Renault Megane.”
They want to trace the Audi driver, a white man in his late 30s to early 40s, around 5ft 10ins tall and of medium to stocky build with short brown hair. He was wearing a blue and grey long sleeved top and blue jeans.
PC Craig said: “I would like to speak with anyone who witnessed the criminal damage or the road rage incident, or has any information about the driver of the Audi, as soon as possible.
“I also urge anyone who witnessed the manner of driving of either of the two vehicles at the time or leading up to it to contact Dorset Police on 101.”
