A BOURNEMOUTH man has been left frustrated after two of his mountain bikes were stolen in a year.
Health care worker Simon Court had two expensive bikes stolen from the same area in little over 12 months, and says it is all the more upsetting so close to Christmas.
Both bikes were taken from Winton and thieves also took the lock during the second incident.
Mr Court said: “It is so frustrating that this has happened so close to Christmas.
“I’ve got a seven-year-old, and my wife is about to have another baby, so it’s really upset her.”
The second bike was stolen outside Lidl in Winton, despite being locked to a bike rack.
It is white, with “Especially hard rock” written in black on it, and a 19-inch frame.
The bike, which was bought new, cost £300, and the first bike Mr Court had stolen was £280. Anyone with information about the theft is asked to speak to police about the theft, call 101.
