VOLUNTEERS at the Wimborne and Colehill Home Watch are celebrating after reaching an important milestone.
The group has reached its 10th anniversary since it was formed in 2002, when individual watch schemes in the area joined together.
Members enjoyed a tea party at Wimborne’s Allendale Centre with guests including Mayor Councillor John Burden, Colehill Parish Council chair David Mitchell, and Neighbourhood Inspector Mike Darkin.
Chairman John Shave said: “We felt it was important to recognise the significant contribution to our success made by scheme contacts and this was our way of saying thank you to them.”
More volunteers are needed – for more information call 07802201778.
