They are: Diana Mary Butler, UK Independence Party; William Kimmet, British National Party; Hazel Malcolm-Walker, Labour Party; Jenny Paton, Liberal Democrat; Peter Portnoi, Poole People and Jane Thomas, Conservative Party.

For the Littledown and Iford election, triggered by Police Commissioner candidate Nick King's resignation from Bournemouth Borough Council, the candidates are: David Norman Hughes of the UK Independence Party, Peter David Pull of the Liberal Democrats, Conservative Gill Seymour and Labour candidate Debbie Lynn Sharman.

The four polling stations are the Terrace Room at the Littledown Centre, Chaseside, Swanmore Gardens Pavilion in Swanmore Road, Beaufort Community Centre in Beaufort Road and Avonbourne College in Harewood Avenue.
