Temporary traffic lights in Magna Road are causing ong delays for drivers this morning.
It was caused by multiple-way traffic lights at the junction of Arena Road, leading to Canford Park, installed to allow repairs to a leaking water main.
The planned work, by Sembcorp Bournemouth Water, is expected to last until Friday.
Last night drivers were reporting queues of up to 45 minutes in rush hour, with one driver saying it had taken 40 minutes to do an eight minute journey.
