A BOSCOMBE police chief is warning that drugs will not be tolerated in the area followed 24 arrests in October.
Several arrests were made for possession, with intent to supply, Class A drugs and heroin with a street value of £6,000 was seized along with £15,000 in cash.
Neighbourhood Inspector Chris Weeks said: “The arrests and seizures are part of our on-going commitment to make Boscombe safer and to make it clear that we will not tolerate drugs or drug-related activity.
“We continue to receive strong support from the people of Boscombe and I am very grateful.
“We will continue to work closely with landlords and the council.”
Several of those arrested have been charged and others have been released on police bail, pending further inquiries.
