DETECTIVES have released CCTV images of a man they want to trace following an attempted bank robbery in Southbourne.
The alarm was raised at 12.05 pm on Wednesday, October 24 following a report of an attempted raid at the NatWest bank on Southbourne Grove.
DC Mark Portelli from Bournemouth CID said: “I am appealing to anyone who knows the man in the footage to contact us as soon as possible.
“If anyone recognises him or has any information please contact Dorset Police or Crimestoppers in the strictest confidence on 101.”
The man is in his late 20s to early 30s, about 5ft 6in to 10in tall with a slim build. He was wearing a striped top, dark coloured tracksuit bottoms and white trainers. No-one was injured and no money was taken from the bank.
