TWO sets of roadworks are coming to the Ferndown area over the next few months.
There will also be temporary traffic lights on the A347 New Road at the junction of Craigwood Drive between Monday, May 16 until Friday, June 3, while work is done to widen the carriageway at the entrance to Craigwood Drive.
The roadworks are part of a major project on the road being carried out by Wessex Water.
There will then be two months of temporary traffic lights on the B3073 Christchurch Road, between Parley Cross and Longham, near the new Coppins development while Wessex Water carries out essential works.
The lights will be in use 24 hours a day between Tuesday, May 31 and Friday, July 29 and will be manually controlled during peak times on weekdays.
Temporary traffic lights were due to be placed in Ringwood Road outside Lamwell Motor car dealership on Sunday while work was carried out to cut back an overgrown hedge.
However, this has now been postponed.
The lights were to be located just south of the Longham double-mini roundabouts from 9am until 5pm.
Please note: this story has been updated as the roadworks at Longham have been postponed.
