A BOSCOMBE road is partially blocked after car hit a stationary vehicle leaving a woman with minor injuries.

The woman was the driver of the red Vauxhall Corsa which collided with a stationary Audi A4 in Petersfield Road, Boscombe East, at around 8.30am this morning.

It was thought initially that the fire service would be required to free her from the vehicle, but she was able to get out on her own.

Recovery vehicles are currently at the scene.
