COMEDIAN, actor and TV personality Lenny Henry has confirmed he will be paying a visit to Wimborne’s Tivoli Theatre . Lenny Henry: Pop Life, will be coming to the venue on November 17 and anyone interested in going is being urged to book tickets now.
The one-man comedy show will take the audience on a joyride through his eclectic life – in music. Lenny told the Daily Echo: “The show is a joyous, funny, freaky show about just how music goes better with everything.”
The star, best known for his work with charity Comic Relief and most recently treading the boards, will also be playing the piano during the performance.
The former Tiswas, The Comic Strip and Chef! star is one of Britain’s most popular stand-ups and was recently one of the presenters of the Queen’s Jubilee Concert in June. Lenny has written Pop Life with his long term collaborator, Kim Fuller who worked with Lenny on Three Of A Kind, The Lenny Henry Show and Saturday Night Live.
