TOP British choreographer Wayne McGregor is so good that he can even get miserable Radiohead frontman Thom Yorke to dance.
McGregor’s dynamic style across dance, film, music and visual art has seen him create a string of unique work over the years, including the choreography for Radiohead’s Lotus Flower video, which features singer Thom Yorke dancing.
Now Wayne’s company Random Dance will be bringing his latest full-length work, Far, to the Lighthouse Poole on September 25.
The production blends cutting edge design with choreography and is inspired by the controversial Age of Enlightenment and by the 18th century French philosopher Diderot’s very first set of encyclopaedia.
Danced by an ensemble of 10 performers, Far is set to a haunting score by electronic superstar and Brian Eno collaborator Ben Frost.
