MAGICIAN Mr Eerius will be returning to Verwood this weekend for the first of the town’s family entertainment nights.
The performer – Martin Gardiner – will be showcasing his magical speciality act incorporating magic, illusion, mime, comedy and dance at the Hub on Saturday night.
Martin grew up in Verwood and attended Verwood First School, Emmanuel Middle and Ferndown Upper before joining Warner Holidays as a resident entertainer.
Together with his now wife Kerry, Martin created the Celtic Storm act – a spell-binding combination of magic, Irish dance and big-box illusion which proved to be a hit internationally Last year Martin launched a successful solo career as Mr Eerius and he has been chosen to headline The Hub’s first family entertainment night, which begins at 7.30pm.
The night will also include a disco for adults, a disco and activities for teenagers, arts, crafts fun and games for children aged over five and soft play and a kids mini-disco for the youngsters.
All children’s activity areas and entrances will be supervised by CRB-checked staff.
