WIMBORNE Drama brings farcical comedy Cash On Delivery, to the Tivoli Theatre from Thursday to Saturday.
The play is written by Michael Cooney, son of legendary farce author Ray.
The rib-tickling plot sees Eric Swan pocket thousands of pounds through fraudulent benefit claims. When Norman Bassett (the lodger) opens the door to Mr Jenkins, the Benefits Inspector, deceptive mayhem follows – as do the undertaker, bereavement counsellor, psychiatrist, Norman’s fiancée, a corpse, the ominous Ms Cowper and a rebellious washing machine.
The cast is led by Alan Dester and Colin Pile, with support from Amy Bevan, Jan Bursby, Judy Garrett, Russ Guillaume, Simon Jackson, Val Mantle, David Pile and Heather Seaton.
The director is John Sivewright.
There are evening performances at 7.30pm and a Saturday matinee at 2.30pm.
Tickets are available from the Tivoli Box Office on 01202 885566 or you can book online at tivoliwimborne.co.uk
