GERMAN-born Henning Wehn is the self-appointed German Comedy Ambassador to the United Kingdom, not the easiest of jobs because the Germans allegedly do not have a sense of humour. Henning does not find that funny.
After the success of his BBC Radio 2 series, Henning Knows Best and a sell-out UK Tour of No Surrender in 2012, Henning debuted his new show, Henning Knows Bestest at last year’s Edinburgh Fringe.
It was a complete sell out with extra shows added and an extensive UK Tour that reaches the Tivoli on March 14.
Henning is a fountain of knowledge. There’s no shortcut to success, hard work will eventually pay off and there is no shame in paying tax.
But what he knows bestest is that his comedy shows are a guaranteed success.
Either he’s funny or he confirms a national stereotype. It’s a win-win situation. Wunderbar.
