SAUCY salsas, cheeky cha cha chas and passionate paso dobles will be the order of the day when Strictly star Brendan Cole takes to the stage at Poole’s Lighthouse on Thursday.

Licence To Thrill promises a sophisticated and glamorous evening of live music, dance and chat with Brendan and his 20-strong company – including his brother Scott – as they pay tribute to the style of Bond.

This is done through ballroom and Latin dancing.

It is the follow-up to his debut theatre tour Live and Unjudged, which Brendan has toured the UK with for the past three years.

“The Licence To Thrill tour is going to be our best show yet, full of drama, passion, fantastic music and dancing and, hopefully, a lot of fun,” said Brendan.

“With the new tour it’s very exciting as there will be a new cast, new choreography, new costumes, new music and putting that all together is a challenge but something I really enjoy doing.”

Brendan said the inspiration for the Bond theme came from the classy, elegant persona that Bond presents and that a couple of the big music tracks associated with the films are being used including Gladys Knight’s Licence to Kill.

From the beauty and sophistication of the waltzes and foxtrots to the fast-paced quicksteps, tangos and the excitement of the Latin dances, Brendan is sure there will be something for everyone to enjoy in his show.

He added: “I like to include all dance styles so that no one goes home disappointed.”
