ORIGINALLY intended as a guide to boating on the River Thames, Jerome K.
Jerome's classic tale of misadventure, of youthful friendship, mischief and folly demonstrates the charm and wit of Victorian England.
In an attempt to escape the stress of city life, Jay, Harris and George, accompanied by their faithful dog Montmorency, decide to relax and rejuvenate on the river. Their holiday however, quickly becomes chaotic.
This production is by the Original Theatre Company and is a combination of comedy, farce, pantomime and mime.
Each of them in turn becomes another character and accompanying them on the piano is Sue Appleby as their antics embrace singing.
Harris is played by Tom Hackney, George by Christopher Brandon and Jay by Alastair Whatley.
The play has been adapted by Craig Gilbert who also directs.
