IT'S been the best part of 20 years since some of the bands taking part in the Big Reunion Boyband Tour set foot on the stage at the BIC, but it seemed like only yesterday.
The excited audience remembered every word and every signature dance move from 90s giants Blue, Five (who are now, technically, Three), 911, A1, 3T and Damage, as well as the collective hits from newly formed 5th Story (aka Gareth Gates, Blazin' Squad's Kenzie, Adam Rickett, Kavana and Another Level's Dane Bowers).
There were trap doors, body pops, air grabs and lots and lots of screaming.
The best thing about a Big Reunion concert is that every tune's a hit, and the Windsor Hall partied along to favourites including One Love, Everybody Get Up, Bodyshakin, Breathe Again, Same Old Brand New You, Freak Me, Love To Love and Why, finishing with the crowd pleasing Spirit in the Sky.
Whether the numerous new albums and tours plugged on the night will be a success remains to be seen, but for one night at least, these bands showed they still have what it takes to get an arena on their feet.
