Book: WHAT TOMORROW BRINGS by MARY FITZGERALD

Review: BARBARA DAVIS

THIS page-turning pre-Second World War novel starts in Cornwall and finishes in the same county in 1947.

The descriptive element and the storyline are first class, and I found it very difficult to put the book down.

It is definitely a novel to take with you to the beach and you will be absorbed for hours.

The love story traces the affair of Seffy Blake, journalist, and Amyas Troy and spans various European countries, London and Cornwall. True love does not run smoothly and Seffy leans heavily on the support of journalist boss, Charlie Bradford, who sees her through some difficult times. The story is rather unbelievable at times but the easy flowing style makes the reader want to reach the exciting conclusion as soon as possible.
