“WE are Motorhead and we play rock and roll” said Lemmy as Motorhead took to the stage at the BIC and they proceeded to do just that.
In these uncertain times it’s good to know that there are still some thing’s that can be relied upon and a Motorhead gig must be near the top of that list.

It was hard, fast, raw and loud and that’s just what everyone had come to hear.
Lemmy’s distinctive bass playing and vocals are perfectly complimented by the amazing guitar work of Phil Campbell and the equally talented Mikkey Dee on drums. Put them together and they produce a wall of sound that will excite you whilst also leaving you a little deaf for the next couple of days.
The main set started at half nine and was pretty short at less than an hour so when the last bars of Ace Of Spades rang out the crowd were ready for more.
The band obliged with an encore that included a cover of Thin Lizzy’s Are You Ready? finally releasing the crowd to make their way home with a spring in their step and a ringing in their ears.
