BEHOLD, Dorset indie-folk-pop band Beartown Zodiac release their debut EP, Karaoke Bites today.

Written during Wareham frontman David Bird-Hawkins’ travels to 12 countries in 12 months, the EP is released on Woodenhouse Records and can be downloaded at iTunes, Amazon and Beartown Zodiac’s influences include Sparklehorse, Grandaddy, Blur, Super Furry Animals, Eels and Magnetic Fields.

Their uplifting melodies and great harmonies have brought them comparisons to Belle and Sebastian and Noah and the Whale.

Ali is known locally as the organiser behind the successful annual Ceilidh at Leeson House, Langton Matravers.
