AMERICAN ska punk heroes, Less Than Jake will be bouncing along to the Old Fire Station on Wednesday night. Fans can expect a dose of pure punk madness when the energetic four-piece deliver their phenomenal live act.

It’s been a wild and crazy ride for Gainesville’s Less Than Jake who in 2012, hit the 20 year mark and are celebrating the band’s anniversary with a headline tour and support slots with fellow American punk rockers NOFX.

Less Than Jake is a member of the newest wave of ska, often labelled as ska punk due to its fusion of earlier ska music – the first wave of Jamaican ska and the second wave of British two-tone ska and punk.

The band hails from Gainesville, Florida, which is alluded to in the name of their newest full album GNV FLA. The band has toured with many other members of the ska-punk genre such as Reel Big Fish, The Mighty Might Bosstones and Mustard Plug.
