FOLK music fans will have a rare opportunity to see one of the UK’s most unique groups play at Poole Lighthouse tomorrow night.
Spiro first met on the Bristol music scene and have been together for more than 20 years.
Their 2014 tour supports the re-release of their 1997 debut album Pole Star.
Group member Jon Hunt said: “We’re just trying to get people hooked at an emotional level.
“You can do this so much more by playing live instruments rather than pressing a button on a computer.
“It’s a lot more interesting to watch people playing instrum-ents than someone playing this slab of electronics.”
The quartet is playing at Poole on tomorrow at 8pm.
Tickets cost £15.50 available by calling 0844 406 8666 or visit lighthousepoole.co.uk
