IT wasn't exactly the best of summer weather, but that didn't stop a big audience enjoying party time on the beach at the end of air festival day two.

Wave 105, with presenter Simon Clarke, hosted its annual Night Air at the Piers bonanza, which takes place on the sands of Boscombe Beach.

It celebrated great British music, offered some fun entertainment for visitors to the town and really is becoming one of the highlights of the four day festival.

Headlining on Friday evening was the bouncy and fun Rizzle Kicks, who have performed at the Night Air at the Piers event for three consecutive years.

Harley and Jordan look like they enjoy being onstage as much as we, in the crowd, love listening and dancing to their tracks, which include Lost Generation, Mumma Do The Hump and Down With the Trumpets.

Joining them for the event were pop band, Rixton, who have recently been in the US supporting Justin Bieber on his latest tour.

The boys are sweet and are clearly hungry for the fame from their teen fan-base that they deserve, having previously proved themselves in the online world, by uploading covers of other artists' tracks onto YouTube.

Britain's Got Talent stars, The Loveable Rogues, who featured on the talent show in 2012, also took their moment to shine on the stage in front of 6,000 people, while different beautiful aircraft flew over our heads.

Like Rizzle Kicks, they also performed at last year's event, and came back with a start to remind the audience why they had such success on BGT.

Alex's Goddard from Blackwater in Hampshire, who is signed to Roc Nation, the same label as Calvin Harris and Rihanna, jumped around the stage for her set.

But a personal favourite was Sigma, who created a party atmosphere on a cold beach in Bournemouth and got the crowd moving to some of the best current chart-toppers to ensure nobody left without having a good time.
