TONIGHT sees multi-instrumentalists David Fendick and Jonny Hooker aka Fossil Collective playing a live set at Sixty million Postcards.

The two-piece have been working together for years, having previously been in successful Leeds band Vib Gyor together.

Their delicate uplifting music and stripped back melodic harmonies are reminiscent of earlier sounds from artists such as Fleetwood Mac and Simon & Garfunkel, both of whom have been an inspiration to the band from a young age.

After spending the past months recording their debut album, Tell Where I Lie, Fossil Collective are now out to wow the Bournemouth crowd after having just played their first US gig at SXSW.

Saturday sees a celebration of Record Store Day from 12pm until 2am. The event will see a pop up record shop from Bournemouth’s Flat 13 Records.

There will also be other treats including a screening of the official Record Store Day film and live music from Tripwires and Town.
