DORSET’S Camp Bestival has announced that rock group Ash will be playing at this year’s festival in August. The ever-increasing line-up is now looking impressive with six months to go before the festivities start.
A spokesman for the Lulworth Castle-based festival said: “We’re over the moon to be able to announce that one of our favourite bands of all time, Ash, are coming to the party to get the Castle stage crowd jumping.”
The Irish trio shot to fame during the Britpop era of the mid-90s with a string of top-10 hit singles, including Goldfinger and Oh Yeah and A Life Less Ordinary.
