SEVENTIES music fans can check out a supersonic tribute to the decade at the Tivoli Theatre, Wimborne.
The Supersonic Seventies Show will grace the theatre’s stage on January 26.
Supersonic Seventies is a professional six-piece band who perform the hits of the Seventies live. Featuring the incredible cat suited wondergirl Janey Bombshell. Janey adds some ‘Agnetha glamour’ alongside co-lead vocalist Mark Keen, the ‘velvet voiced’ singing sensation with the moves to match.
The top flight band of musicians have a wealth of experience worldwide and include guitarist/vocalist Greg Hart, bassist Gary Williams, drummer Stevie Weaver and the wizardry of keyboardist/vocoder Andy Stewart, who is the grandson of the entertainer Arthur Askey.
A spokeman said: “The idea was to put together a classic sounding 1970s live hit machine.
“It’s a packed show containing all those monster quality chart hits that few have dared to attempt, plus some of the ultimate party anthems from this golden era of pop. Abba, ELO, Queen, 10CC, the Osmonds, the Carpenters, Wings, Olivia Newton John, David Essex, Suzi Quattro, Sweet, T Rex, Elton John and even the Buggles.”
