HE’S been behind the scenes of some of the biggest rock records of the last decade.
Now producer Ethan Jones makes a rare appearance at Square records in Wimborne on Tuesday at 5.30pm.
Ethan will be giving a Q&A session about his time working with Kings of Leon, Tom Jones and The Vaccines and his fondness for independent record stores.
Ethan told the Daily Echo: “I'm doing this tour primarily because visiting local record stores is still one of my favourite things to do.
“You just don’t know what you're going to find, whether it be an elusive album you’ve been searching for, for years, or the amazing new local band the shop assistant is playing when you walk through the door.” Ethan added: “Nothing beats it. I’m looking forward to meeting people who have as deep a love for records as I do.
“I buy vinyl when I can because it’s a deeper listening experience than any of the digital formats, especially if the record has been cut and manufactured with care.
“I’m very grateful for those store owners who have struggled on. It’s going to be a fantastic trip.”
