AWARD-WINNING pianist Benjamin Grosvenor is to perform with the Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra later this month.

The rising star has two Grammy awards to his name at just 20.

Grosvenor will take centre stage to perform Grieg’s Piano Concerto on November 21 at Lighthouse, Poole.

Grosvenor is a firm favourite with BSO audiences, who have watched him grow and develop as a pianist since he first came to their attention by winning the keyboard final of BBC Young Musician of the Year – at the age of 11.

To complement his performance of Grieg’s famous Piano Concerto, the BSO will perform several works in a show described as ‘Fire and Ice.’
