For ages three and over, apparently. I’d love to see a three-year-old try some of these games. That’s a good recipe for a tantrum right there.

Yes I realise that’s more to do with the suitability of the content rather than difficulty level, but ti still seems a silly number to plaster a game aimed at a higher age bracket. Not much higher, granted, big kids will have no problems putting these jolly cartoon animals through their circus paces.

These days tie-ins for kids’ films are a waste of time unless opened up to more than one player, and M3EMW, to which I may refer the software henceforth, opens up affairs to a second participant. Box checked, well done.

That second participant may have to be mummy or daddy, however, as little fingers will need some super dexterity to manage some of the acrobatic feats required to throw these beasts towards their goals.

Much like the Madagascar films, the game doesn’t challenge any watermarks of achievement for its medium, but young fans will certainly get some couch-jiggling glee from it.
