Over Christmas and New Year, your usual rubbish, recycling and food waste collection days will be different.
Poole
Poole will not be collecting black or blue bins between 25 and 31 December 2015 (inclusive).
All properties will miss one black bin (rubbish) collection and some properties will also miss one blue bin (recycling) collection.
The council will take extra bags with your first collection after Christmas with residents asked to put addictional cardboard recycling out on the day of collection.
Residents are asked to put their bins out by 6am.
Bournemouth
Your rubbish and recycling collections will only be affected if your collection day is Friday.
Bournemouth council are not collecting on Christmas Day and New Year's Day.
They will run catch-up collections between Monday, December 28 and Thursday, December 31.
All residents are asked to put their bins out from 5am until 8pm (or until it is collected) on your collection dates as the bin men will working into the evenings.
Refuse workers will collect up to two extra sacks of rubbish beside your bin on your first rubbish collection after Christmas Day as well as extra recycling that won't fit in your bin if placed in your own boxes, with glass kept in a separate box.
Extra rubbish and recycling can also be disposed of at the community recycling centres at Millhams in Longham or Wilverly Road in Christchurch between 9am and 5pm each day.
Dorset
Most people's collection will move forward one day except those whose bins are collected Friday. Those collections will move to the following Monday.
If your bin would usually be collected on Thursday, the NYE collection will move to Saturday, January 2.

New Forest
Residents who would normally have their rubbish collected on a Monday, will next have their black and clear sacks picked up on Monday, January 4. The New Year's Day collection will instead take place on Saturday, January 2.
Household glass will be collected on Saturday, January 2 or on Saturday, January 9.
The New Forest District Council will not be carrying out garden waste collection until January 11. Council tenants can report urgent maintenance issues using the emergency phone line 02380 285250.
