YATES Reverend George Hatton Yates Methodist Preacher George died peacefully on Tuesday 10th October 2017, aged 91 years. Reunited with his beloved wife, Lilian, he was a much loved Dad, Grandad, and Great Grandad. A Service of Thanksgiving for his life will take place at Wimborne Methodist Church on Friday 27th October at 12 noon. No flowers at George's own request, but donations if desired for The Methodist Ministers Housing Society, Cancer Research, and British Heart Foundation may be sent to the funeral director, Chester Pearce Funeral Service 38, Seamoor Road, Westbourne, Dorset.
