PLUMLEY PAUL JOHN 1957 - 2016 Remembering Paul one year on. He is so greatly missed by his sister, Yvonne, brother Nigel, and his brother in law, Malcolm. While the loss of Paul has been so incredibly difficult for his family, they have taken such strength from the love and affection in which he was so obviously held, with so many messages of sympathy received from friends and colleagues. Paul was a gentle man, and one of life's true gentlemen. Never a bad word spoken, always happy to listen, and offer support where he could. So devoted to his Mum, who died soon after him, and his sister, brother and brother in law, and a genuine friend to those lucky enough to have him in their lives. As the General Manager at The Connaught Hotel, Paul developed a reputation for being the best. He understood the needs of others, whether that be guests or colleagues, and was highly respected by all who came into contact with him. Never a day goes by when he isn't thought about, talked about, cared about, and there can be no greater tribute to him than that.
