SERRAO JOAO ALBERTO GOMES “John” Passed away after a tragic accident and illness on 8th April 2015, aged 70 years. Beloved Husband of Jean, Father of Sarah and Father-in-Law of Simon, Brother of Gilda and Ana. Will be sadly missed by all his family and friends. John worked on the Railway for over 20 years. Funeral Service to be held at The Lansdowne Baptist Church on Thursday 30th April at 2.00pm followed by cremation at Bournemouth Crematorium. Bright colours to be worn. Donations if desired, cheques made payable to either Macmillan Caring Locally or Bournemouth Heart Club may be sent to Co-operative Funeralcare, 166 Windham Road, Boscombe, Bournemouth, BH1 4RA. So sad to hear of the passing of my friend "Albert", as I knew him from my time working with him on the railway during the 1980's. We had some good laughs that's for sure!
