A TEENAGE boy was kicked in the back and robbed as he walked in Bournemouth yesterday.
The boy, who is 15, was walking in Meyrick Road close to the Queens Hotel at 10.25am on Thursday, July 28 when he was assaulted.
The offender then stole cash from the victim's wallet and made off in the direction of Gervis Road.
The victim, a Saudi boy studying in Bournemouth, suffered a minor injury and didn't require hospital treatment.
He didn't get a clear view of the robber, but said the offender was wearing a grey jacket and baseball cap.
Detective Constable Leigh Topol, of Bournemouth CID, called for witnesses to get in touch.
"We would like to reassure the public that the local neighbourhood policing team has stepped up patrols in the area and can be contacted with any concerns," DC Topol added.
