CASTLE Lane East was temporarily closed this morning following a three-vehicle crash.
The collision was reported to police shortly after 10am this morning, and the westbound lane between the Holdenhurst Avenue junction and Cooper Dean Roundabout was closed.
However, no serious injuries are believed to have been sustained.
A grey Citroen Saxo and a blue Ford Focus - both registered to local keepers - and a green Renault Scenic, registered to a keeper who lives outside of Dorset, were involved in the collision.
A Dorset Police spokesperson said: "This was reported to us at around 10.05am.
"The road has been closed to allow recovery of the vehicles to take place. We believe that slight injuries only have been sustained."
At 11.30am, the road had been reopened.
