Nine people have been arrested in the New Forest during the Christmas drink-driving campaign.

Hampshire Police’s ‘It’s Not Worth The Risk’ campaign led to 196 arrests county-wide on suspicion of drink driving from December 1-29, which is up from 174 in 2012.

The ages of those arrested across Hampshire ranged from 17 to 82.

Why weren't they driving on roads through the New Forest instead of driving in the forest itself?
