POOLE’S historic Guildhall is holding an open day on January 18, where one couple could win the venue for their wedding.
The event runs from 10am to 4pm and the 1761 building, which houses Borough of Poole’s register office, provides scenic surroundings for a marriage ceremony.
“Choosing a wedding venue is a key decision for any couple planning their perfect day,” said Cllr Judy Butt, cabinet portfolio holder for public engagement and participation.
“Poole’s Guildhall really is a beautiful venue and I would encourage anyone planning their special day to visit during the Open Day to see what is on offer.”
Staff will be offering guided tours of the building throughout the day and there will be the chance to enter the competition to win a wedding at the Guildhall.
