TWO men have appeared in court following an alleged stabbing in Boscombe.
The men were arrested after a 36-year-old man was found covered in blood outside an estate agents office on the corner of Christchurch Road and Crabton Close Road at 10.30am on Wednesday January 14.
The incident prompted a major operation involving the police helicopter and armed units, Lee Groves, 40, of Hawkwood Road, appeared before Bournemouth magistrates on Friday January 16 charged with inflicting grievous bodily harm with intent and robbery.
Christopher Pearson, 31, of Bournemouth appeared to face the same charges on Saturday January 17 and both were remanded in custody to appear before Bournemouth Crown Court for a preliminary hearing on Friday January 23.
Rebecca Pennicott, 41, from Bournemouth has been charged with robbery and perverting the course of justice in relation to the same incident and is due to appear at Bournemouth Magistrates’ Court tomorrow.
